Feng Shui Means Business

The Western business community, in search of new ideas to improve its own fortunes, has been examining the secrets of Asian companies through its branches located in the Far East.  The major tool that was identified has been the widespread use of Feng Shui.  In the Far East, Feng Shui consultants are regularly called in at the conception of a new business to promote its chance of success, an existing business that may be experiencing difficulties, or a business that may be expanding or moving to a new location.

Approximately ten years ago, Feng Shui burst onto the West Coast business scene and everything from small businesses all the way up to multinational corporations started scrambling to find Feng Shui consultants that were based here in the United States.  The principles of Feng Shui explain the interaction of people with their environment or what I call "the art and science of placement".  The potential benefits of Feng Shui are as follows:

For Managers:
Lower staff turnovers
Improvements in productivity and teamwork
More effective leadership
Increased profits

For Employees:
Less Stress
Improved Confidence
Greater sense of achievement
Enhanced creativity and more job satisfaction

Recent and current corporate clients include some of the following:
Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital (Houston)
Chase Bank (Houston)
Avner Moving Company (Los Angeles)
Zachery Selig Gallery (Miami)
Hampshire House Hotel (New York)

The function of any commercial building should be to support the short and long term goals of the business.  With Feng Shui, the design decisions are based on whether they make the business more successful and create a harmonious environment for all involved.  Feng Shui operates by making a building work for the people who use it.
